Crater of Diamonds State Park is located in the Southwest corner of Arkansas and is noted for the unique geological conditions, which have created a diamond field within reach from the earth's surface. MESA was responsible for the design of two separate trails. The first is an ADA accessible interpretive nature trail of which the first 3000 LF has been completed. The stained concrete walk allows for universal access from the campground to the edge of the Little Missouri River. Two new footbridges were also constructed as part of Phase 1. When all phases are complete, the trail will loop back upon itself and provide over a mile of surfaced walk through the mature hardwood and pine forest setting. The second trail is a short ADA accessible woodland walk terminating at a wildlife observation blind nestled at the edge of the woods overlooking a clearing and seasonal stream.
